Ed Baxter is a radio artist, writer, curator, organiser and a lecturer at the London College of Communication where he teaches Sound Art. He has received commissions for radio work from Esch2022 European Capital of Culture, Exeter University Arts & Culture, Radiophrenia, Radio Revolten Internationales Radiokunst-Festival, Rough for Opera, Instal, HearSay International Audio Arts Festival, Whitechapel Gallery, Kill Your Timid Notion, BBC Radio 3 and Sound & Music, and London International Festival of Theatre. He won a BASCA Composer of the Year Award for “No Such Object,” his composition (with Chris Weaver and Sukandar Kartadinata) which formed the audio component of NVA's son et lumière extravaganza “Speed Of Light” at the 2012 Edinburgh International Festival. From 2002 to 2023 he ran London’s arts-focused community radio station Resonance FM which he co-founded (with Phil England) in 1998.
