Signals2Noise is the first major gathering of independent community radios from Europe to be held in Berlin. S2N focuses on the exchange of experiences and collective artistic processes with Eastern, Central and Northern European community radios.

Black Rhino Radio is a project promoting artists, music, and the culture behind the sound. Set around people with a background in music and visual arts, the team behind summons over 15 years of experience. On every project, we make the voices of both established and emerging artists heard.

The online station promotes the diversity of music and people. The Black Rhino Radio community summons musicians, visual artists, DJs, professionals, record store owners,
selectors, label owners, promoters, and music lovers. With each show put out on the world wide web, we aspire to bring a feeling of happiness for both the broadcaster and the audience.

Cashmere Radio is a not-for-profit community experimental radio station which was originally based in Lichtenberg, Berlin for the first six years of its existence before recently moving to our new studio headquarters in Wedding. The ambition of the station is to preserve and further radio and broadcasting practices by playing with the plasticity and malleability of the medium. We do this by both honouring and challenging its inherent qualities: it is both a physical station open to the public and an online radio; it has regular shows, yet opens itself up to extended and one-off events; it features extended generative music performances...

Cashmere Radio 

Gasoline Radio — a non-commercial Kyiv-based media platform about Ukrainian culture. Radio is focused on various formats: mixes, interviews, educational shows, live performances and discussion programs.

Team is curating a Gasoline Records label, organising and taking part of different local music events, community radio events, conferences and working on different kind of collaborations with the brands, organizations and institutions.

Our mission is to study and shape modern Ukraine's cultural image and create a healthy environment for musicians without prejudice. We strive to give aspiring, young, talented artists an opportunity and space for development without being frowned upon by peers, support and help them grow.


Gasoline Radio

IDA Radio is an independent cultural platform that operates as an online radio and event producer. It was first founded in Tallinn, Estonia May 1st 2018 and have since expanded to Helsinki, Finland in 2020.

Running under a shared website, the two sister channels offer a wide range of music and talk shows with more than 250 monthly residents.

Kanal 103 is an independent community radio station based in Skopje. 
Founded in 1991 as a youth-driven experiment within the national broadcaster, its fresh ideas and popularity quickly led to an independent editorial policy, carving out a space for uncensored expression amidst political and media turmoil. Music, arts, social engagement, and inclusivity became its signatures, attracting generations of young Macedonians and nurturing a vibrant alternative scene. 
 
Voluntary-based since 2004 and officially illegal and FM-less since 2020, Kanal 103 is continuing its mission of being a welcoming space for the brave cultural minorities, finding strength in adversity.

Lahmacun.hu is an online music-and-beyond radio from Budapest founded in 2018 and covering different subcultures of the capital city of Hungary. Lahmacun radio also involves numerous international show hosts, such as from Brussels, Edinburgh, Berlin, San Francisco, Belgrade, and others. Also, Lahmacun radio has had cooperations with other web radios such as with Periszkóp Rádió (Hungary), Radio Kapital (Poland), Cashmere radio (Germany), IDA radio (Estonia) and others.

Lahmacun radio’s studio is located inside the Kazán community and project hub, a space located in the 8th district of Budapest, on the edge of a former factory, in a multi-cultural neighbourhood of the city. Kazán gives a home to various culturally and socially active projects dealing with media, art, economy, sport and even a kindergarten. Lahmacun is also a neighbour (in spirit and locality) with Gólya, a pivotal cultural space and a venue in Budapest, where most Lahmacun radio events had taken place in the past.

RadioAparat is a 24/7 online radio station based in an adapted garage of an old private house in Belgrade, Serbia. It was founded in 2016. by the architect Zoran Dmitrovic and experienced media professional Svetlana Djolovic, who is radio's music and editor-in-chief.
In the past seven years we produced over 110 shows (with over 8000 episodes or over 11 000 hours altogether) that you can listen to on our website via mixcloud. Our hosts, as well as our audience come from different generations, spanning from those born in the 1950s to the 2000s. 

Program is a mix of eclectic music genres and talk shows in different fields - culture, science, lifestyle and comedy that address different social issues - mental health, gender equality, immigration/refugee crisis, climate change, freedom of the press. We also try to raise the level of media literacy  and encourage critical thinking in both our authors and our audience.

Radio Aparat

Radio Kapitał is an online community radio station founded in 2019, broadcasting 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (unless we have a website failure, that is). It is a platform of open social and artistic dialogue, presenting shows about culture, society, history, herstory, literature, arts and music of all the different genres.

Radio Kapitał grew out of a need for a grassroots, non-commercial, independent platform of expression, created not for profit, but for personal satisfaction and the community’s benefit. It is also an innovative cultural project on the national scale. Informed by the rich and long tradition of experimental radio, it constantly tries to expand the horizons of this medium.

Since 2019, Radio Kapitał has organised or co-organised dozens of concerts and other cultural events in Warsaw and Łódź (the two main hubs where RK has physical studios). In September 2021, RK was officially registered as an association.

ORANGE 94.0 stands as a non-profit community radio station rooted in Vienna, important in fostering media plurality throughout Austria since its inception in 1998. Boasting approximately 500 contributors and hosting over 200 distinct shows, ORANGE 94.0 claims its position as the largest Community Radio station within the German-speaking realm. Commited to equality and fostering open-minded coexistence, ORANGE 94.0 actively opposes all forms of discrimination and exclusion. The majority of its radio hosts operate on a voluntary basis, dedicating their work to topics often overlooked by mainstream media. ORANGE 94.0's dedication to amplifying voices extends to its programming, which encompasses shows broadcasted in 25 different languages. Through its multifaceted approach, ORANGE 94.0 serves as a vital conduit for community expression and representation in the Austrian media landscape.

Radio Plato is an independent community radio and music media based in Minsk. We do shows, podcasts, and writing journalism (in English and Belarusian) to empower the local music community and help people start doing their radio shows and podcasts. Over 5 years Radio Plato grew into a solid community of musicians, DJs, dancers, artists, and designers

We do regular online broadcasts and collaborate with one another to produce new shows and find fresh ideas.
 
The main objectives of Radio Plato are empowering Belarusians, Belarusian diasporic creatives and other groups through conversation, collaboration and community; give opportunity for communities to represent themselves and their artistry in their own light; and promoting goodwill, support, careful consumtion, media awareness, inclusivity, independent media, critical thinking.

​​Founded in 2015, Radio Punctum is a community radio platform based in Prague, Czechia. 
We support our network of local and non-local music enthusiasts, DJ's, talkshow hosts and live musicians with a radio platform that celebrates and reflects their diversity. 

Online, and in-person, with all shows archived on our website. Currently, we are broadcasting from Tendance, a top-notch listening bar in Prague's Lená district, bringing our unique radio experience to new audiences.

Radio Študent was founded in 1969 to give a voice to students and under-represented groups in society. It is one of Europe's oldest alternative community radio stations with a high-quality non-commercial programme. 
Radio Študent is an educational institution that provides free multimedia training for young people every year. A broad community of more than 200 contributors produces a rich programme in alternative music, culture, politics, science and education, fostering a culture of criticism, in-depth research and reporting, journalistic integrity, credibility and plurality of opinion. The programming policy of RŠ combines the concepts of community radio and public service, with journalists adhering to professional and ethical journalistic standards. Since its beginnings, it has supported civil society initiatives, independent and critical thought, tolerance, solidarity and human rights. In addition to media production, Radio Študent regularly organises important music and cultural events.

The Lake is an online and international focused radio station. The station is driven by artists and musicians and is 100% non-profit. The Lake focuses on exploratory, experimental and interesting music of all ethnicities. Furthermore we are broadcasting sound art, radio art and other contemporary art pieces.

The radio runs 24 hours of the day without hosts, but several times a week with longer programs, mixtapes or live concerts are broadcasted.

tīrkultūra is an interdisciplinary contemporary culture platform working mainly through the medium of sound. tīrkultura is a listener-powered, non-commercial, and non-profit online radio station, based in riga, latvia. our mission is to enrich and inspire the development of culture in latvia and showcase the art of sound in the context of contemporary art. 
tirkultūra is also recognized as a producer of live visual sound sessions in the form of white wall concert sessions presented at partnership venues in latvia, as well as a biannual series of unexpected sources. both events aim to merge visual art with the art of sound opening up the platform to local and international artists.
