Dawno Temu is a solo project by Polish sound artist, composer, and producer Agnieszka Bykowska. In her work, she balances the notions of time and space, creating minimalist drone sonic landscapes using a very limited synthesizer setup and elements of electroacoustic music. Between 2013 and 2022, she lived in Bydgoszcz, Poland, where she became involved in poetry and the improv scene. In 2021, she released her debut album Automatic Reply (Jvdasz Iskariota Rec.), followed with SACRALIA (Pointless Geometry) in 2024. Her main sources of inspiration are spirituality and the emotional depths of human nature.
Joanna Dyba (Hyper_Matter) is an interdisciplinary artist whose interests lie in the temporary, the spatial, the textural, and the undefinable. She explores blurred boundaries between three-dimensional physical forms and their representations on different levels. In her practice, she primarily combines image, sound, video, object, and installation media, creating experiences that question the nature of perception and redefine meanings. She often references systems thinking and dark ecology, and thoroughly analyses the geometric foundation of everything.
The two artists will combine their languages of expression, preparing a unique audiovisual set rooted in minimalism and the exploration of emotional fields and layers, with great precision of movement.
